DAY 1 Basics of Beauty
This class is taught from the perspective of professional make up artists - D’angelo Thompson & Andrea Fairweather Bailey. They will teach you how to choose the right foundation, concealer, powder, blush, eye shadows, liners and lashes for any complexion. D’angelo & Andrea will also teach you to shape brows and create a long wearing flawless application.

Art of Contouring
Everyone has something they don’t like about their face. Contouring is an excellent solution. Change the visual impression of the shapes of your features. Many of us unwittingly contour every day: wing-tipped eyeliner creates the illusion of more angled exotic eyes, bronzer suggests higher cheekbones, etc. Contouring is a daunting process that most makeup neophytes will probably shy away from, but it’s one of the most powerful tools available in makeup. D’angelo Thompson & Andrea Fairweather Bailey will start with basic face teach you the art of contouring and highlighting for photo shoots, personal appearances, bridal and more.

DAY 2 Photographic Beauty
Using all the techniques learned in the “Basics of Beauty” and the “Art of Contouring”, D’angelo Thompson & Andrea Fairweather Bailey will train you on how to take these looks to the next level. You will need individual and strip lashes, embellishments like feathers and crystals and brighter eye and cheek colors in your kits. All students should bring digital cameras to shoot before and after shots of their models.

SUPPLIES NEEDED: due to the amount of hands on techniques in this Boot Camp both Brushes and Make Up are needed

PREREQUISTE: New York State Esthetic or Cosmetology License or Level I Certification
Certificate of Attendance given by: nyib post graduate education
