Nail Specialty and Waxing to be licensed by New York State. New
York Institute of Beauty offers one of New York's highly rated
courses towards these licenses.
Admission Requirements
To be accepted to the New York Institute of Beauty you must
complete the following:
1. Must be 17 years or older
2. Must submit proof of a high school diploma, (GED) general education
diploma or pass an Ability to Benefit exam.
3. Complete the New York Institute of Beauty application form and submit it with a non-refundable registration fee.
